If you have been affected by this story #phillipschofield don’t ❌ keep things quiet 🤐. You 🫵 must reach out & talk about it. #itv must now clean up their act. They need new fresh blood as otherwise it makes a mockery out of everything 🤬. I am so angry that this has gone on for so long. Shame on you #thismorning 🥺😡 Shame on you @hollywilloughby 😡. 🅆🄷🄰🅃 🅸🅵 🄸 🆃🅾︎🅻🅳 🫵 about 5-HTP 💭Have you even heard of it 💭🤔(5-Hydroxytryptophan) is a naturally occurring amino acid that serves as a precursor to serotonin in the body. #Serotonin is a #neurotransmitter that plays a role in regulating mood, appetite, and sleep. 5-HTP can be found in the seeds of an African plant called Griffonia simplicifolia. It's commonly used as a dietary supplement for its potential mental health benefits, such as improving mood and reducing #anxiety, as well as for its potential physical health benefits, such as reducing symptoms of #fibromyalgia and #migraines. It is generally safe to take #5htp because it’s a natural occurring amino acid. Any side effects are mild. So before considering taking #antidepressants look into 5-HTP as an alternative option. Of course, it's important to consult with a healthcare provider or your GP before taking 5-HTP or any other dietary supplement.#MentalHealthAwareness#EndTheStigma#SelfCare#MentalHealthMatters#YouAreNotAlone#MentalWellness#Mindfulness#Anxiety#Depression#PTSD#BipolarDisorder#EatingDisorderRecovery#SuicidePrevention#AddictionRecovery#Therapy#MentalIllness#Stress#NormalizeTherapy#PositiveMentalHealth#NavigatingMH ... Today 😁 I felt honoured, humbled and proud to be invited by @oscarfairchildaccountants in #billericay to come and talk about #mentalhealth in #mentalhealthawareness week. It was heartwarming 💗 to know that people were able to be truly #authentic. I hope today I have been able to change at least one person’s life. It was truly refreshing to see a company championing mental health in such a huge way. What an incredible company to work for. It's heartening to see companies championing the cause of mental health. By addressing this sensitive issue, we can create a more inclusive and supportive workplace culture. Kudos to the company for creating such a positive and encouraging work environment. Hey there everyone! I’m so proud to announce that in recognition of #mentalhealthawarenessweek I have been invited by a local company in #billericay to come in and do a half day’s training on #mentalhealthwellness for their staff. And I want to take a moment to talk about the importance of Mental Health Awareness Week.Mental health is just as important as physical health, if not more so. This week is dedicated to raising awareness and starting the conversation about mental health—how to prioritize it, how to talk about it, and how to take care of ourselves and each other.By raising awareness about mental health, we can reduce the stigma surrounding it and make it easier for people to seek the emotional help when they need it. Mental health issues affect people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. It is never something to be ashamed of or to suffer in silence. So, let's use this week to educate ourselves and each other about the importance of mental health. Let's prioritize our mental well-being and help those around us to do the same. Businesses large and small are beginning to recognise the importance of mental health wellness of their staff. It’s vital that companies help their staff to actually talk about mental health instead of shying away from it or thinking it just does not exist nor matters. When companies acknowledge that we are all humans with thoughts and feelings & life happens to us all, they will then realise they will get a lot more out of their staff. Loyalty goes both ways. Remember, we are all in this together! #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #mentalhealthmatters #wellbeing #mentalhealthsupport ... See MoreSee Less

What if I told you 🫣💭That the body can & does store #emotional #trauma, resulting in #physical #symptoms such as #chronicpain or physiological #illness, as well as #psychological symptoms such as #anxiety, #depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) #ptsd. Did you know 💭😟 #Preverbaltrauma pre-verbal trauma refers to experiences of trauma that occurred before the individual has developed the ability to use verbal language to communicate. It is abhorrent 🫣😟💔.This includes experiences such as #neglect, #physical or #sexual #abuse, and emotional trauma that happened in #infancy or #earlychildhood. The 5 tell tale signs of pre-verbal trauma are:1. Difficulty forming relationships: People who have experienced pre-verbal trauma may struggle to form meaningful relationships due to a lack of #trust or #fear of #vulnerability.2. #Hyperarousal: Individuals may constantly be on edge and may have strong emotional reactions to normal everyday stimuli.3. #Dissociation: People who have experienced pre-verbal trauma may use dissociation as a #coping mechanism, which involves mentally disconnecting from their body or surroundings.4. Sensory processing difficulties: Individuals may have trouble processing sensory information, leading to over or under-sensitivity to stimuli such as touch or sound.5. Mood swings: Rapid and extreme mood swings may be experienced by the individual. It must be stressed however that just because you or someone you know may have experienced some of the above it does not necessarily mean that they did (definitely) experience pre-verbal trauma. What if I told you 💭I work with #Emotionaltrauma, that’s my job - as a Trauma Specialist | Trauma Counsellor | EMDR Therapist.⏹️But what exactly is emotional trauma? Emotional trauma can be defined as a psychological response to a deeply distressing or disturbing event, such as abuse, physical, sexual or emotional or extreme violence, which can have a long-term impact on a person's mental and physical health. ⏹️Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD) are two conditions that can result from experiencing ongoing emotional trauma. ⏹️The main symptoms of PTSD include flashbacks to the trauma, avoidance of anything that could trigger memories of it, feelings of guilt or shame, and hyper-vigilance or being constantly on edge. C-PTSD, on the other hand, includes these symptoms as well as additional symptoms related to emotional regulation, self-esteem, and interpersonal relationships.⏹️If you have experienced emotional trauma and are experiencing symptoms like these, it is possible that you may be suffering from either PTSD or C-PTSD. ⏹️It is important to seek help from a mental health professional who can diagnose and treat these conditions. They can provide you with coping techniques and therapies that can help you manage your symptoms and heal from your trauma.Do delay in getting help because the longer you wait, the worse you will feel 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️. EMDR therapy can and does produce incredible results. Drop me a line or visit my website for more information. ... See MoreSee Less

Do you suffer with feeling #overwhelmed 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🥺If you do read below ⬇️ my 🅣🅔🅝 🅃🄾🄿 🆃🅸🅿︎🆂 to help you feel less overwhelmed 💭. You must practise these things - if you do for at least 18 mins per day for a year you will feel so different than 95% of the population who do not ❌🤷🏻‍♀️💭😁✅1. Prioritise your tasks: Make a list of all the things you need to do and prioritise them based on their level of importance…. 🤔 Ask yourself 💬 ‘do I really need to do all these things today 🤷🏻‍♀️’2. Break down larger #goals into smaller manageable tasks: This can help you focus on what you 𝗖𝗔𝗡 achieve in the present moment and avoid feeling intimidated. 🆂🅼🅰︎🆁🆃 💭3. Learn to say "🅝🅞" sometimes: It's essential vital even 🤷🏻‍♀️ to consider your capacity and not ❌ take on more than you can handle.4. Get organized: Use a calendar or #App 📆 and set reminders 🔔for deadlines, appointments, or meetings. It will help you to structure your time 🕰️ better.5. Create a routine: Establish a work schedule that works for you and stick to it ✅. Most of us love ❤️ #routines ❤️6. Take breaks: #Rest is crucial for #productivity, so make sure you take regular #breaks.7. Practice 🧘🏽‍♀️ #mindfulnessmeditating : Sometimes the reason for feeling overwhelmed is the inability to be present in the moment of 🄽🄾🅆. #Mindfulness can help you regain #focus and be more present.8. Ask for help 🙋🏻‍♀️: Don't ❌ be afraid to ask for #help when you 🫵 need it.9. Exercise: #Exercise is a great way to release #stress and recharge your batteries 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️10.
