I am a BACP registered Counsellor, PTSD / EMDR Therapist, Clinical CNHC Hypnotherapist and EFT Practitioner and Life & Executive FinsLM Coach. I am fully CRB checked and insured, and am a Member of the BACP (MBACP), a Fellow of ILM (FInsLM), registered member of CNHC and a member of the EMDR Association.
In addition to counselling, I am also a Supervisor. I know from my own experiences that choosing a Supervisor can be a big step for any Counsellor or Trainee Counsellor. I am CBT, TA and Solution Focused Brief Therapy trained, and in addition to Supervising Practising Counsellors, I also supervise Trainee/Student Counsellors.
With a wealth of over 10 years experience and expertise, my experience is working privately, in schools and the voluntary sectors, including a junior school in Basildon (Essex) and within a rehab facility in Brentwood (Essex).
I am currently working privately with a large client base (local national and international) of all backgrounds, ages, ethnicities and presenting issues . I also work with children (age 6+), adolescents, adults, families and couples. Sessions are conducted face-to-face, by phone or through FaceTime.
With a wealth of personal and professional experience within Anxiety and Depression, Self-harming, suicidal ideations, ADHD and Cancer, I have also suffered severely with Anxiety & Depression personally myself when my young daughter was diagnosed with Cancer.
I work in a private setting in Billericay, Essex, with ample free parking and also in Marbella, Spain.
My approach to therapy is holistic in nature exploring cognitive, emotional, cultural and environmental elements of a client’s life. My intention at all times is to provide a safe, confidential, non-judgemental, comfortable, calming, relaxing and tranquil space for my clients to explore any issues affecting them. Although I do not give advice, I explore what is best for them.
I am bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and attend regular monthly supervision for counselling as well as for hypnotherapy.
